Appalachians Outdoor Adventures offer ATV / UTV and horseback tours year round that are guided in the beautiful Appalachian "Smokey" Mountains. So if you are visiting or looking to visit any of the surrounding areas of the High Country - Boone NC, Asheville NC, Abingdon VA, Damascus VA - (home of the famous Creeper Trail) we are just a short drive to the ultimate in ATV/UTV, and horseback adventures.
Our thrilling, single rider ATV/4 wheeler adventures are keep to small groups and start off with a lesson/warm up session on the flat terrain to get you acclimated with your machine before going up on the mountain. The entire adventure usually takes about 4 hours to complete depending on speeds and your group size. We can accommodate first time riders as well as those who are very experienced. The ATV/UTV adventures include a picnic lunch, drinks for the day, plus your fuel and the permit fee that allows you to enjoy the park that is over 8000 acres with over 70 miles of thrilling mountain trails is included in your ride price.
The horseback adventure is a private, hands on, interactive mountain experience that lets you become a true partner with your horse. The ride is for 2 people (18 years or older) to enjoy and you need to have ridden a few times in the past. After your amazing mountain adventure, you will get to take care of your 4 legged partner then have a nice lunch to end your day.
**For safety reasons, atv drivers and horseback riders need to be at least 18 years of age and older. No double riding on atvs permitted**
